Went to my first ever Swedish wedding last… well, two and a half weeks ago now. Unsurprisingly perhaps, they’re not unlike British weddings (certainly the ones I’ve been to anyway), except of course that every is speaking Swedish and I haven’t got a clue what on Earth is going on. To make matters somewhat more complicated, I also had never met the bride or groom (talk about a freeloader eh?) 
It was a heck of a lot of fun and thankfully, the weather was also very nice, which is to say, the sun was out, even if the wind made it feel like < 10°C. Landing back in the UK on Sunday afternoon, we were welcomed back with open arms and opened heavens. Typical.
