Work has been killing me again this week so I spent most of my time working on re-blocking the shot and making the ending a lot better.

As I spent so long re-blocking, this spline pass is very, very quick and dirty, but let me know what you see and I’ll try and make some proper time to polish it up nicely for next week.

Here’s the blocking pass for my Stairs Run shot. The timing and ending need a lot of work. It’s very slow, Stewie is lacking urgency and the stumble at the end doesn’t work that well! Plenty of stuff to fix!

As I wasn’t happy with the end of my blocking last week (c3w2), I went away and shot some additional video reference to get a better idea of what happens after bashing through the door. Here it is along with new blocking pass stuck on the end:

The speed is much better, there’s a sense of urgency in the run and the door bash and stumble have been improved.

And here is a rather unfortunate blooper that occurred during my reference shoot:

How embarrassing! :(
