			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Week 3. The very first animation of the term, the year, the course! Well, obviously not the very first animation <em>I&#8217;ve</em> done this year but you can see why this would be important! Our brief for this week: &#8220;to animate a bouncing ball with the weight and bounce of a basketball or football in under 100 frames using the side view only.&#8221; and &#8220;Pose Stu communicating excitement based upon one of your sketches&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Let&#8217;s start with the animation then! Here&#8217;s some all-important video reference footage I shot in the office:</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Unfortunately the truth is often stranger than fiction and having followed the reference too closely Shaun thought there were too many bounces for a football. So here&#8217;s the revised animation based on his critique:</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">I think there are some revisions I can make to this pose, but overall: a good week!</p>
